Kiwi Sonny Bill a victim?

By thatkiwijoker

Its distressing watching the NRL imploding over the Sonny Bill Williams affair, first they warned they take him to court, then its was upgraded to court, then a life time ban, then before the bosses could find the brake they were off in a Gallop threatening time in prison?

Now I’m not sure why Sonny Bill Williams has turned his back on League, but its fair to say that his “mates” who also turned on him at an after practise press conference, where probably the same ones that with Willy “the Rooster” Mason when they talked Sonny Bill into a shit contract for the “Good of the team”, and what chance did the Bulldogs have of making the finals this year?

I’m sure it will all settle down once the NRL back off the “If he doesn’t play for us he doesn’t play” or the “Come back so we can ban you for life and shoot you in your cell” attitude a compromise maybe found, or if they try to take him to court they will lose “Rugby in France” is not part of the NRL, his contract was signed under duress, and the salary cap is a restraint of trade (according to a mate at the pub)

But regardless the biggest question for rugby is should he be a back or a forward, here come………

All Black Sonny Bill Williams

All Black Sonny Bill Williams Kiwi

Im a big SBW fan and being a fellow Kiwi – Im in full support of all our Kiwi league boys playing hard here in Australia.

But in saying that – a contract is a contract. Bottom line is there were probably other options that SBW could have taken to bring about an amicable resolution to all his woes at the club etc.

Sadly, what’s done is done – no one will ever be able to fathom/understand what was going through his mind when he made the decision to walk out.

I just hope and pray that he doesn’t come to regret what hes done, in the years to come.

Without a doubt a super talented young player!
